10 hour days 4 days a week (M-TH). 7am-5:30pm
$22.14/hr 5% raise after 90 days.
* Ideally, at least 6 months of experience in carpentry and general knowledge and ability in construction practices
Job description
This position also known as Weatherization Technician weatherizes homes by installing insulation, replacing windows, doors, etc. to reduce heating and cooling costs and improve energy efficiency on low-income homes in the community.

Physical Requirements/Activities: While performing the duties of this position, the individual is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, carry, reach, crawl, squat, push, pull, lift, twist, grip, use hands to finger, handle, and operate tools and equipment, reach with hands and arms, and communicate (talk and hear). Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
Heavy work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects, including the human body. Frequent (or almost continuous) work with average weight objects, with some (not over 20% of the job) handling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of medium to heavy weight objects. Physical efforts, as climbing, jumping, crouching, and crawling may occur as much as 25% of the time.
